School Council Trip

We are delighted to report that our Pupil Council had the honour of visiting the Mayor’s Parlour this week for tea with Mr. Light. The children were praised for their politeness, respect, and thoughtful conversation. The Mayor commented that they were wonderful ambassadors for our school and our core values. It was an exciting experience for the Pupil Council, and we are incredibly proud of how they represented our school. Several children wrote about their experience:

"It all started when we arrived on the minibus and ate our snacks. We saw the council chambers and got to sit on the seats where they debate. The Mayor showed us her special robes and her Mace, which was really cool. She also showed us the chains on her neck that symbolised all the previous mayors. We had juice and snacks in her office and we got to ask her lots of questions."
