On Friday, the End of Season Awards for the school’s boys’ and girls’ football teams were presented during our Achievement assembly by Mr Puncher and the Rise Sports coaches. 

Over the course of the season, 21 players from across Year 5 and 6 were able to represent the boys team, with 16 players making appearances for the girls team respectively - an impressive uptake in comparison to many other schools, showcasing the ever-increasing popularity of the sport.

The girls squad were presented with their league winners medals, whilst certificates were also awarded to several players, recognising excellent performances across the season in both the boys and girls matches.

Hopefully the successes and clear enjoyment had by all involved this season will continue to inspire more children to play competitive school football next year!
