In Year 1, our topic this term is "The World Around Us". This week, we read the story "Handa's Surprise" and we went to Corringham Town Centre to buy our own fruit as we will be making a fruit salad to eat in school. The children enjoyed our little walk and the whole experience of buying fruit from a shop.
