The Year 4 Cross Country team of Parker B, George H, Jeffrey L and Blake M took part in the County Finals at Garon Park in Southend on Wednesday. Competing against the best from across Essex, the boys represented Herd Lane with great courage and determination. 

With over 150 runners involved, Blake M and Parker B finished a respectable 81st and 78th position respectively, while George H finished in 24th and Jeffrey L achieved the highest position of the team, finishing in 13th, which gave the team a final position of 6th out of all of the competing schools.
